1. Information only — no offer

The content of this website is general information about the products for which Friend’s Oil Company L.L.C. arranges commercial introductions. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell or buy, a quotation, a confirmation of availability, or a commitment on price, quantity, origin, quality or delivery.

2. Enquiries

Preparing an enquiry on this website creates no contract and no obligation for you or for us. The website does not send the enquiry: it reaches us only if you send it yourself. An enquiry is not an order and does not reserve any product.

3. Brokerage engagements

Brokerage and introduction services are provided only under a separate written agreement signed by Friend’s Oil Company L.L.C. and the client. That agreement sets out the services, any commission or fee, who pays it and when, and any exclusivity, confidentiality or non-circumvention terms. No commission or fee is payable to us unless it has been agreed in writing in advance.

4. Purchase and sale of goods

Goods are bought and sold directly between buyer and seller under their own written sale contract, which governs the goods, price, quality, inspection, delivery, risk, payment and documents. Friend’s Oil Company L.L.C. is not a party to that contract and does not guarantee its performance, unless it has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Authority and verification

Only the authorised representatives of Friend’s Oil Company L.L.C. can make commitments on its behalf, and only in writing. We cannot bind buyers or sellers unless they have given us a written mandate to do so.

Commodity trade is a frequent target of fraud. If you receive an offer, invoice, mandate or other document that claims to come from us, check it with us using the contact details on this website before you act on it.

6. Specifications and reference information

Specifications shown on this website are selected reference parameters for initial enquiries. They are not a Certificate of Analysis, a product guarantee or confirmation of available stock. The complete agreed specification and the applicable quality documentation are confirmed for each transaction.

References to standards, exchanges and publications (for example EN, ASTM, DEF STAN, JIS or LME) are for technical orientation only and do not indicate any commercial relationship with the organisations concerned.

7. No advice and no financial services

Nothing on this website is financial, investment, legal, tax or technical advice. Prices, benchmarks and market conditions are not published on this website and must not be inferred from it. The website does not concern financial instruments such as commodity derivatives.

8. Trade compliance

Enquiries and any resulting transactions are subject to applicable sanctions, export-control, customs and anti-money-laundering laws.
